With the purpose of starting to publish some of my images, videos and experiences, I've decided to start a Behance profile/portfolio. I quitted social media about 7 years ago and this is in someway a "comeback" to anything "social" on the web, apart from my Flickr gallery.

With that said, I had no better idea than sharing some of my favorite shots of a trip that I took last year to the city that never stops capturing my attention. 

All the images were taken with my point-and-shoot camera (Panasonic ZS200). 

When I first visited the city back in 2012, all I wanted to see was THAT view of the Manhattan Skyline. Made a few trips more in the following years and my amazement remains intact. Empire State building used to emerge as a single giant, nowadays it has some company up there.

So many icons mixed all together in one shot. SABRETT carts, yellow cabs, steam stacks... You get the point. In fact, I remember waiting for a taxi to pass by, another kind of car wouldn't work... I don't know if makes the composition better or worse but in some way completes my capture.

Pure action in every crosswalk. Hustle and bustle comes in all shapes and sizes.

The energy of this place has no comparison. I have no words to explain what you feel when you're in town. Sometimes anxiety hits hard due to that "overstimulation" generated from everything that you see while walking down these complex streets, but I can't deny that is what makes this city one of the most interesting places on earth.
